Alf's Blacksmith Shop - After an 1894 fire the shop was rebuilt to continue building Borax freight wagons to the same specifications as the Death Valley-Mojave wagons. Daggett once had 3 blacksmith shops, all but Alf's eventually converted into garages. Alf's continued on as a blacksmiths shop for many years. (Private residence, please do not disturb occupants)
